BEHIND THE SCENES

I’m on my way to the southern tip of the island. Walking on the beach this morning is a long, tough adventure: darkness, vegetation, slippery stones, and strong winds. Yet, there is excitement in witnessing the beautiful waves in front of me … waves that repeatedly hammer the shore.

“I come upon some sort of bunker structure (probably from the Second World War) and climb it. The wind is so strong that I struggle to remain standing and decide to return to my spot on the beach among the seaweed, sand and stones. The perspective from here is much more genuine (not to mention, safer).”
