Throughout 2019, Danish photographer, Anders Hviid-Haglund, travelled the coastlines of Denmark, tracking the Royal Copenhagen trademark waves in search of 52 essential moments to capture … and to share.

The Waves of Blue Project – a personal narrative of that exploration – is a prolonged immersion into the poetry of the Danish waters. A poetry that can only be captured by experiencing them in their entirety as the seasons come and go along the shores.

Those 52 “essential moments” – and evocative glimpses of the many paths that led to them – are now available in the form of a beautifully designed and coffee table book.

The book is divided into two sections: one with the 52 Artworks, the other with behind-the-scenes images, notes and the photographer’s written reflections on his many hours gazing into the horizon.
