BEHIND THE SCENES

I have to look really hard to find the horizon. No wind at all. I cannot recall ever having witnessed quietness with such an impact. I scream when a dove suddenly takes off from a tree behind me. It could have been a lion. My pulse settles. A morning dance with nature.

“Photographing into the dark with no visible horizon is quite a challenge. Shifting my camera to the left, I can pull focus on the Ærø and Skjoldnæs Lighthouse. The intense humidity creates small streams on my focusing screen.

I’m operating very much on instinct this early morning.”
