BEHIND THE SCENES

The view from here is breathtaking – the cliff rising more than 30 meters above the sea. I’m pushing my own right now. And at this early morning hour, I feel a kinship with Kierkegaard who sat here two centuries ago.

“I have discovered that the water is calmer before sunrise and after sunset. Wise men have told me that is has something to do with the air being cooler at ground level. My mind pushes me in the belief that ‘the sea sleeps at night.’

Below me, the calm water has a distinctly subdued velvet look. It’s very graphic … and quite photogenic.”
