BEHIND THE SCENES

This very early morning I follow a full moon – one prone to hiding behind the clouds – as I move west towards Bågø. It is an unreliable guide.

Still, I am here and must do what I can to “make it happen.”

“Assembling my camera, I keep an eye on the moon, as it weaves behind distant clouds and lowers itself towards the horizon. I manage to get one shot before it disappears. At least I think I do.

Not being certain, I spend the next few hours waiting for what could work as the best alternative.

Back home, the darkroom reveals the reality: I got just that one shot.”
